Herod Antipas, 33-34 AD Tiberius coin, Reasserting the Mosaic Law

This is a new variation found with the 33-34 AD Antipas coin after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Looking at prior posts you will see the cases I made on 2 occasions which suggest Herod Anitpas may have either acknowledged the risen Jesus or tried to address the political implications with Rome in the Galilee. Well this coin adds to the "shofar with three dots" as described before.

I am awaiting Xray analysis of the above coin to better delineate the details. The lambda and zeta are encrusted and highlighted. Lambda is equivalent to 30 and zeta is 7. This stands for the 37th year of his rule from the death of Herod the Great. Note the red line where a encrusted straight shofar is to the left of the palm branch. Three dots would be recognizable from Exodus 19. On the third month after the Israelites left Egypt they came to the Desert of Sinai. Moses was to consecrate the people for the third day in preparation to meet the Lord. On the third day thunder and lightning enveloped Mt Sinai with a loud trumpet blast. Cleary this takes any Judeo-Christian to the presence of God but the above coin has additional letters after the three dots. Upsilon "Y" is equivalent to 400 and the additional lambda is 30. The number 430 on this coin with the above symbols let's us understand what Antipas is communicating to the people after the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is clearly emphasizing the Mosaic covenant between God and the nation of Israel.

The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:40–41)

Remember the nation of Israel began with the God's covenant to Abraham, 430 years to the day when the Israelites left Egypt. Genesis 12:1-4

The temple priests were against Jesus because they viewed him as changing the Mosaic law even though he clearly said that he came to fulfill the law. Matthew 5:17

He summarized the goal of the commandments later on, Mark 12 30-31

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

So we now know Antipas was trying to reassert the Mosaic Law with the people. Rome would have agreed with this political and religious message to control the population. Maybe Antipas still converted to Christ? Maybe he viewed the events of 33AD as the new covenant with the nation of Israel? Whatever the case, Jesus Christ's message could not be contained even with the best of Judeo-Roman propaganda.

Picture below is "best of type" without Greek letters after the dots.
